In 1983, Dina Mergeron, by now the widow of a wealthy cosmetics baron named Marcel Mergeron and the CEO of Mergeron Cosmetics, came to Genoa City and tried to buy Jabot Cosmetics.
Dina made infrequent visits to Genoa City but for the most part remained in Paris where she ran Mergeron Cosmetics.
