The Glo By Jabot Boutique was a shop in Genoa City.

Profile[]

The internationally known Jabot Cosmetics was famous for their colognes and perfumes, with "Ashley" being one of their best sellers.

In 1999, the Glo by Jabot ad campaign was nationally recognized for incorporating local teens in a summer long campaign a la "Real World". With the return of young Billy Abbott to town, Jabot's management was inspired to use him and his friends as a way to access a younger demographic.

They chose to use the internet and create a closed circuit 24 hour website where people could log on and see what the kids were doing. It took place exclusively at the Abbott pool house. Phyllis Summers was hired to be the web designer. It lead to such success that a joint partnership was formed between Jabot Cosmetics and Fenmore's to run a small boutique named the Glo by Jabot Boutique (later renamed Fenmore's Boutique).

After trying her hand and failing as a waitress at Crimson Lights and as a sales clerk at the Boutique, Gloria Bardwell begged Katherine Chancellor for her job back. Mackenzie Browning and Raul Guittierez attended Genoa City University while working part time at the Boutique. Lauren Fenmore Baldwin became co-owner of the Glo by Jabot Boutique adding her clothing fashions to their cosmetics line. Glo went on for two years before fading out.
