He stopped long enough to get involved on the ground floor with a .com company and made a killing on his stock options before .coms made their downfall. He lived in a 35 room Long Island Victorian mansion, filled with great art, furniture from around the world and all the "toys."

While Jill remained wary of this hot younger man and his motives, he romanced her, won her over, and swept her off her feet. Sean was a good influence on the embittered Jill, getting her to show a bit of the fun-loving innocent woman she once was. Sean moved in to the Chancellor Estate and lived with Jill. He had guardianship papers for Eden Baldwin! He said if they didn't want her, someone at the Ashram might. Michael signed the paperwork and the hippie lawyer said, "Right on!" He then told Michael and Lauren they should come down and say their goodbyes to River today!

At the jail, Michael noted that River was being taken to Ann Arbor tomorrow and suggested to him that he might find a better lawyer to represent him than Dick given that a tirade against the authorities was likely to bury him! River said he had no one else! River pointed out that Dick believed him and he could relate to him. Michael got angry, telling River that the court would not relate to him. As River protested, Michael tried to explain that honestly telling the story didn't matter. Michael said it didn't matter if he shoved flowers down gun barrels. If he let Dentner represent him he'd end up dying in prison, Michael emphasized. With evidence mounting against her Estella's employment with the Newmans was eventually terminated. Her only known family in Genoa City was her nephew Rafe Torres, Adam's former lawyer. After his Aunt Estella was accused of gaslighting Ashley, Rafe became determined to prove his aunt's innocence. Shortly after she and Rafe tried to clear her name, Estella left Genoa City. Later, Ashley's gaslighting was resolved with Estella being proven innocent and insane Patty Williams being wrongly accused instead of the guilty Adam Newman; however, framing Estella for gaslighting Ashley was an accident.

However, even after Estella's innocence was proven, she did not ask for her job back from Victor, her former employer; because he betrayed her, as he did not believe in her innocence, and completely disregard the fact that Estella had been a loyal employee for years and would never do such horrible things no matter how much she dislikes someone.

Mina King

Mina King was a fictional character on The Young and the Restless, portrayed by McCready Baker.

Mina King was the daughter of Angela Perkins. In 2008, Paul Williams was concerned for his friend, Nikki Newman, and suspicious of David Chow because he had two deceased, rich former wives. Paul began an investigation into David's past. Paul tracked down Mina, the daughter of David's deceased wife Angela. Once back in Genoa City, Paul met with Mina. Mina, convinced that David murdered her mother, told Paul that David convinced Angela to cut Mina out of the will entirely, leaving David as the sole beneficiary. Mina claimed that David cut the brakes of her mother's car causing the accident! Paul later confronted David with this information, but David denied the allegation, stating that Mina was cut from the will due to her addiction to cocaine. David said Mina accused David of murder because Angela had cut her out of the will.

A friend of Paul’s father gives him the story on Mina King: a shady past involving cocaine and burglary led to Angela's cutting her daughter out of her will. Paul then confronted Mina who denied nothing but still insisted that David was a killer. David told Nikki about Mina and how she accused David of her mother's death while at Angela's funeral. Once David and his third wife, Bitsy Hartford, separated, David started his affair with Carmen Mesta. Bitsy, like Mina, accused David of killing his ex-wives, forcing him to finally seek a divorce. It was revealed a few weeks later that Mina died under suspicious circumstances.

Phillipe[]

Jack Abbott was writing a story for Restless Style sabotaging Sabrina's reputation. He was not backing off one bit despite the controversy. Jack was adamant about Phillipe, the information he had and using it to make sure the magazine sold lots of copies. Nicholas Newman and Adrian Korbel on the other hand, seemed to be on the same page of not being willing to spill the dirt on Sabrina. Nick got a call from Phillipe and wasn't happy to learn that Jack was looking for dirt on Sabrina.

Jack entered to hear the end of the conversation then he and Nick got into a shouting match. Victoria arrived to see the end of Sabrina's interview with Adrian. Victoria wondered how much Sabrina told him about her time in Paris. When Sabrina told her that she didn't mention Phillipe, Victoria realized that Sabrina only gave Adrian a limited truth. Jack was behind Phillipe coming to GC. Sabrina and Phillipe's stories about their relationships didn't match. Sabrina said that Phillipe tricked her into creating a one man show for him while he cheated on her with other woman.

Philippe said that she chased him even though she knew he had other women. He said she wanted him so much she created a one man show just for him. Victoria Newman pretty much backed up Sabrina's side of the story when she told Victor Newman about Phillipe. Victoria said he was a player and that he had broken Sabrina's heart with his other women. Jack altered Adrian's article on Sabrina to include the rumors about her and Phillipe. Victoria told Sabrina that Phillipe was in Chicago showing his new collection.

Victor told Sabrina he would send a limo for her then he left with Michael Baldwin to meet with Phillipe at the ranch to confirm or deny the story about him and Sabrina. While David Chow was spiking Nikki Newman’s drink with enough morphine to kill her, Phillipe was telling Victor the story as he told it to Jack, not Korbel, for the article.

The plan backfired when a customer, Emma, had an extreme allergic reaction to the cream that put her into a coma. Lauren Fenmore lamented the fact that Emma was on a ventilator because of the Jabot face cream she bought at Fenmore's Boutique. Michael Baldwin said that he would make Jabot pay if it weren't for the fact that his mother, Gloria, had a huge investment in the company. Jill Abbott noted that every jar was accounted for, as she, Jack Abbott and Ashley tried to do damage control from the Jabot living room. Later, Jack and Gloria visited his father and her husband, John Abbott, in prison. When they talked about the Jabot scandal, John got fired up and Jack commented that it was as if they were all in the boardroom like the good ol' days. Back at the house, Jill received a call that all production of Jabot products was being shut down. Ashley was devastated.

Emma ended up dying. The resulting scandal nearly took down Jabot and the entire Abbott family. Gloria kept her role in this a secret despite a judicial order that no Abbott be allowed to run Jabot again. Emma's husband, Andrew Gibson sued Jabot. Michael Baldwin later tried to settle the case, but Andrew didn't bite and said, "See you in court." Eventually Andrew did settle and Gloria convinced him to stipulate in the settlement that no Abbott could have anything to do with the company ever again.

Gloria had to contend with seeing Andrew the widower of Emma. Gloria started to feel a bit down in the dumps with everything going on in her life and she did the most shocking thing she could have done--cop to her misdeeds regarding the face cream! Just when it seemed that Gloria was really repentent, she got news from her son, Michael. Paul Williams had investigated Andrew and discovered that Emma had a child by a former husband. Her first husband was institutionalized with anaphylactic shock from a severe food allergy. Emma’s tests were compared with those of her son finding six points of correlation. This proved Emma died from a bad reaction to the food she ate and that Gloria was innocent of causing Emma's death--something Gloria had professed all along.

Gloria was over the moon with the latest development. When she and Michael headed for court, Heather Stevens admitted the recent findings about Emma that Paul and Michael had found to the judge. Although the judge was appalled at Gloria’s product tampering, he had to set her free of charges in the death of Emma Gibson.

Paul said he would go there and search for the books. Isabella didn't want to get her hopes up though. Paul was sure that what they would find would give her her life back.

Paul was looking forward to once the case was over and the talk they would have. Isabella said her past was behind her and she liked that. At Paul Williams Detective Agency, Paul met with the assistant US attorney. He had information on the James Franklin case but would only divulge it on certain terms.
